The first election of CAAS board is going to be held as following:
Place: 327 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, First Parish Sudbury (second floor)
Time: Tuesday 09/27 7:00-8:30pm, doors open at 6:30 for social

Important notes for this election:
1. All voting will be online, both on-site and off-site. So please bring your smartphone to the election meeting if you are going to vote on-site.
2. If you received this email, you should expect the email with voting link around Friday 9/23. If you don’t get the email with voting link by Saturday 9/24, please contact helehhuang@gmail.com to resolve.
3. Vote online from Friday when you receive the voting link, to Tuesday 9/27 election meeting on-site voting period ends. The votes will all be counted electronically in front of all participants of the election meeting on site.
4. Each email address can only cast vote once for max of 7 board members, once submitted, vote cannot be changed nor updated even if there is a mistake, so please double check before submit vote. All registered Sudbury resident adult member is eligible for vote.
5. Anyone who cannot participate the election meeting can vote electronically before or during the meeting, observe the meeting via resident WeChat group update.
6. Residents who are physically present in the election meeting can choose to vote before or at the meeting time. All voting will end at the meeting after the on-site voting period.
7. Seven candidates who get the higher votes will be elected to new board. In case of a tie that need tie break, the previous board members present in the election meeting and the candidates with the tie votes will vote again to break the tie.
8. At the end of the election meeting, the 7 newly elected board member will be announced, and CAAS will officially hand over to the new board.
9. The previous board will transfer the association’s registration and bank account to the newly selected board within a week. The previous board will put in effort to help the newly elected board to get used to all aspects of association and remain in consultant for a month or so and when the new board sees fit, release the old board members from duty and complete the transfer.
